SCANDIA STUDENTS ARE SAFE, RESPECTFUL & RESPONSIBLE   

 In 2018, Scandia Elementary was accredited as a PBIS school. PBIS stands for Positive Behavioral Interventions & Supports and is a state wide positive climate framework which complements our IB framework well. Scandia's building wide expectations are for our students and staff to be safe, respectful, and responsible. Students who exhibit those expectations earn STAR tickets and those students who go "above and beyond" are recognized with a "bucket-filler" certificate. Each month we hold a school wide Monthly Meeting to honor those students and classrooms who have exhibited safe, respectful and responsible behaviors.
